The first week of school was fantastic!!! The kids were wonderful, and I feel we will have a great year.
The second week began with a noisy day. Ugh! I don't know if the kids were too excited about the aquatic frogs coming in or the possibility of a storm. Whatever the reason, I had to assign silent lunch for Tuesday.
So here it is Tuesday. We began the day going back over the rules and regulation. This seemed to help a lot. Ms Pat was with us for some of the day. Ms V began working her schedule with us. I have worked out the schedule and will publish it and the links for this website soon. Makayla's mom wants to come help us. It took until today to get the schedule worked out. Mr. Thomasson is concerned by how large our class it and is doing his best to get Ms. V. into our class to help some. With the addition of parents and other volunteers I believe we can cover everything we need to learn this year AND help students get the help they need. We are going to have to help the third graders act like third graders--organized and able to focus on their work.
This is the first website I have ever created, and I am not great with it yet. I am still learning how to
get things added in a timely manner. It takes me a long time. I really do like the way the kids are working from it. I will get the schedule and website links on the website this week.
Thanks,
Mrs. Robinson
p.s. I have not had the time to proofread this. It is time for supper. I will reread it with the children tomorrow morning and get them to help me edit.
