The new class rolls are posted on the Red Level Elementary website. If you are not sure how to get there, here is the website:  http://redlevel.al.cce.schoolinsites.com/ Click school staff and the announcement sections to see the rolls.

Savannah, I wrote to you that I would tell you about the new 4th grade teacher as soon as it was official. The new teacher is Mrs. Carmen Powell--Natalie's mother. You and Natalie will be is Mrs. Ashley Lee's home room. I don't know if they will still change classes like they have been doing. If so, you will go to Mrs. Powell's room for reading. Also, I am wondering if Sawyer is your brother. He will be in my class this year.

If you are in my new class, this is where you can write me. Get an adult or older brother or sister to help you post a message. I will have to approve it in order for the post to appear. I will get a message in my email that tells me you have written something. I will approve it if you have posted your name and haven't written anything that could hurt someone's feelings.

Former students: you know the rules about posting. I sure would like to hear from anyone I have taught. I am having a great summer and reading at least a book a day. You know how much I love to read!!!
Love,
Mrs. Robinson

Mrs. Spikes,I have approved your message. It seems to be taking a while to post. I appreciate your post and am grateful that you have a computer. I hope you will let Coy use it to study his spelling and vocabulary words. I love having my students use computers. I will teach them how to play games to study their words and math facts.

I am very excited to move back to second grade. I enjoy third grade, but I do not enjoy teaching to the ARMT state tests. Third grade is so packed with new things to learn that I can't enjoy my creativity in lesson planning. Second grade is easier for me to fit some fun in.

I will still be in the same classroom. I wonder if Coy likes frogs? The aquatic frogs we will have in class are so funny. My granddaughters will be sad to see them leave my house to go back to school. The baby gets a big kick out of them. I'll bet Coy will like them. We also have American tree frogs in class. If all goes well, I will bring my chameleon to school. My oldest grandchild loves to hold refrigerated
mealworms. They wake up and wiggle in her hand. We put them in his cage and Jedi snaps them up with his long tongue.

We will have a smaller class this year (around 18 kids), so the children may be able to stay calm enough to have the chameleon visit. I used to be able to let my parrot visit occasionally. She can be quite loud around loud classes.....in other words, if the kids are not calm she will disrupt the entire building. Yikes!

Please pass the word to other parents about my website and home email address. I would love to hear from the parents and kids.

This is going to be a great school year!!!!!

So sorry I am just now seeing this. Yes, Coy loves frogs and all other kinds of creatures ;) I will also pass the word along about this page! I love to stay informed and active in whatever I can ( you more than likely seen me up there often *seemed like daily * helping Mrs.Stanton whenever I could) We presently live walking distance to the school So pretty easy to get up there ;) Also, Will we have a day before school to bring all of the supplies up there?

I'm so glad I stumbled upon your blog, Mrs. Robinson. I want you to know that when I was cleaning out my garage a few months ago, I found my creative writing journals you helped us make (in 1996). One was a butterfly, which was probably made when we read "The Very Hungry Caterpillar." I still have fond memories of you talking about your dogs and Mr. Marty. I hope you are well and do hope one of these days our paths cross again!
